La Rhune is a tourist destination thanks to its little train which, since 1924, has offered a 360° panoramic view of the Basque CountryLandes and the Atlantic Ocean, between land and ocean.

35-minute ascent at 9 km/h in the heart of the wilderness, discover the Pottoks, small Basque ponies living in total freedom, sheep, and griffon vultures, emblematic birds of prey of the Pyrenean range.

The minimum stopping time at the summit is 35 minutes, but visitors are free to choose their return train.

There are many hiking trails in this area, ranging from the very easy to the very difficult.
